I found this Incredible trip report on the Adventurerider.com forums of a couple touring Germany to Iceland on a pair of bullets. The photography is simply stunning!

Enjoy!
Confirmation the bullet is indeed “adventure worthy”!…
Before achieving “nirvanna as a “bulleteer”; I attended the 2006 Royal Enfield Annual homecoming rally athe U.S. distributor(Classic motorworks)in Faribault Minnesota. Unfortunately;I had to ride my 1981 Honda Goldwing gl1100 interstate to the rally .Fortunately I was still warmly accepted by the Royal enfield enthusiasts attending. And split a campsite with a genteman on a 500 bullet from Oklahoma.
George Helms( the older gentle man arm wrestling) was there. Proprietor of “Helms cycle” in Malaca Mn. he started as a mechanic with the “Indian acceptance corp”(Chicago) in 1937; he worked on the Indian scout and the”chief” big v-twins. George was involved with Royal Enfield since 1955.
Sadly George has passed.

A motorcycle travel favorite of mine is Susan and Grant Johnsons’ Horizons unlimited.com
a site based on a community of long distance/ around the world motorcycle travelers.Their dvd series”The Achievable Dream” satisfies winter wanderlust while your Wisconsin machine is “stabil’d” and sitting on the battery tender(in lieu of the snow blower). The boxed set gave me something to enjoyable watch while off my feet for a necessary 10 days of a surgery recovery. Enjoyable and informative talks and slide shows from annual travelers meetings by people who have done it or are still out there “doing it”.
I have Gaurav Jani’s “Riding solo to the top of the world” And “One crazy ride” on DVD and highly recommend either for fellow Royal Enfield enthusiasts.
I am eagerly awaiting the third film: “The Motorcycle Chang Pa”; where he continues his exploration of the lifestyle of the Changthang plateau (Ladakh) nomadic herdsman. for an entire year.

The year long sequel to “riding solo”:The MotorcycleChang Pa” to be released in2012(teaser trailer):
